How to Install the Dark Pattern Buster Extension

Step 1: Install the extension from the Chrome Web Store

• Visit the Dark Pattern Buster extension page in the Chrome Web Store.
• Click the Add to Chrome button.
• Click the Add extension button.

Step 2: Pin the extension to your browser's toolbar

• Click on the extension icon in your browser's toolbar.
• Select Pin.

Step 3: Start using the extension

• The Dark Pattern Buster extension will automatically start detecting and flagging dark patterns on websites.
• You can click on the extension icon in your browser's toolbar to see a list of the dark patterns that have been detected.

To quickly get started using the Dark Pattern Buster extension, follow these steps:

2. Pin the extension to your browser's toolbar.

4. Visit a website that you suspect may be using dark patterns.
5. Click on the Dark Pattern Buster extension icon in your browser's toolbar.
6. Review the list of dark patterns that have been detected.
7. If you see a dark pattern that you want to block, click on the "Block this dark pattern" button.

You can also report dark patterns to the extension developers by clicking on the "Report this dark pattern" button.
